Perhaps one of the most fun rooms to decorate is your kids’ room. Not only do you get to make him or her smile, you also get the chance to think like a kid for a short while.
Kid’s rooms are very fun to decorate. It is exciting to think about how your child will react when he sees his new room. They will appreciate how much effort you put in designing the room with their favourite Disney stories. A lot of children have more fun looking at their bedroom walls and remember the stories they hold. When they see their rooms decorated with Disney themes they will remember the story of the certain Disney theme. For example if your little girl loves the story of Cinderella or snow white she will remember the day she first watched the movie with you. They will probably check out the little accessories or details you put that are also related to the theme. Your children’s room decor is important because when they grow up they will remember how their rooms looked like and their favourite stories. Their favourite Disney characters are sometimes their role models.
There are many Disney themed furniture out there in the market for you to choose from, it all depends if your child is a boy or a girl.
For Boys
Boys’ rooms are easier to decorate and plan as compared to girls rooms. For starters, you can buy a customized bed to make their room really interesting. If your boy or boys is really fond of cars and of the Disney animated feature of the same name, you can by him a really cool car bed which can be any of the movie’s animated car characters. Or, if they rather would be an astronaut, you could buy a rocket ship shaped bed inspired by Buzz Ligthyear from the Disney movie toy story. This will really get their imaginations going. They can play in the bed and imagine that they are driving really fast.
For Girls
Girls rooms are a bit more complicated, but here is one really great Disney inspired children’s room decor you can use. You can buy a magic mirror, the one used by Snow White’s evil step mother queen. This will really get a big kick out of your little girls since the mirror is not only cool and great for play, it is also functional.
For Both
The simplest thing you can add to a room is Disney characters wall papers. This not only brings colors which will stimulate your child’s mind, it also stimulates play. A better idea could be to let your kids draw on one section of the wall. Not only is it cheaper, it will also be fun for them and they get to display their creative work.
